Huram Design Studio is a firm of Architects that specialises in renovating and expanding private residential homes to a very high standard, we are defined by a friendly "can do attitude" delivering the highest level of service possible.
This lovely house backs on to Maryon Park in Charlton, South East London, the clients' brief was very simple he wanted a larger kitchen which expressed his love for clean lines and to maximise the amount of natural light the new space would receive. He also wanted to renovate his existing first floor bathroom and bring more natural light in.
This house is located in Winchester and is a short walk away from rolling hills and acers of beautiful golf courses. The clients for this project did not want to extend their home but simply wanted to reorganise it so that it flowed better and suited the way they wanted to live. In doing so we created a new kitchen, pantry and relocated the dining room in the adjoining conservatory.
This 4 storey house is located in London, Kensington Olympia. Here we changed the layout of the kids bedrooms on the top floor, extended the lower ground floor to create a fabulous kitchen and informal dining area suitable for this size house. We also upgraded the utility area.
In this case we worked closely with a client who knew what she wanted but not necessarily how to get it.
This project is located in a leafy area of Bromley.
The client's brief that he wanted a really large loft conversion to create a fitting master bed room, with a walking in closet, and a large ensuite for this big family home. To achieve this ambition we exploited the Permitted Development rules to add 50 cubic meters of space to the loft, this gave us enough space to everything the client needed. We also worked with PRG Extensions to deliver this project in budget.
The Long house is located in Watford and is on a long and narrow site. with this project we were able to exploit the Permitted Development rules to ensure the clients got the maximum use of the site. We remodelled the whole house including the kitchen and created a new loft bedroom and ensuite
